Suno song
Stop faking now
Stop faking now lyrics
[Intro]
[Verse 1]
You said you’ve traveled the whole world wide,
That the sun greets you on every side.
You spoke like a queen of the dreams you keep,
While the truth in the shadows of lies fell asleep.
[Verse 2]
I don’t want gold, don't want fancy cars,
I just want you for who you are.
My heart beats faster when you are near,
But your lies only wound me. I don’t want them here.
[Chorus 2x]
Stop faking now, just be real,
Let the false world vanish, let your heart heal.
No need for stories, no need for a play,
Truth tastes better than rum any day!
[Verse 3]
Now here’s the question: what you gonna do, now, here?
Walk in the light or keep playing the other?
Today I’ll remind you of a simple thing,
Love built on lies has a hollow ring.
[Verse 4]
Throw off those masks you always wear,
Let the clean water wash away the glare.
Instead of building your house on the sand,
Find your foundation, find where you stand.
[Chorus]
Stop faking now, just be real,
Let the false world vanish, let your heart heal.
No need for stories, no need for a play,
Truth tastes better than rum any day!
[Bridge]
Enough of these games and spinning your wheels,
Lay down your cards, show how it feels.
No more pretension, no need to pose,
Feel the freedom, let the vibe flow.
[Verse 5]
Stop all that chatter, drop that cheap lines,
You won't make a hit with those lies of yours this time.
Don't look for roles that you cannot play,
It’s better to stand face to face, the honest way.
[Chorus 2x]
Stop faking now, just be real,
Let the false world vanish, let your heart heal.
No need for stories, no need for a play,
Truth tastes better than rum any day!
[Outro]
